TANEILLE + NICK

The whole day was effortless perfection; a winter wedding like no other, filled with all the tiny details that made this celebration live up to its name of a ‘once in a lifetime’ kind of day. From her detailed gown right through to the delicate native florals from Huckleberry Flowers, this festival inspired wedding was lit from within for all the right reasons.

Taneille and Nick chose the exquisite grounds of Yabbaloumba Retreat to hold their wedding celebration and it was simply breathtaking, Hosting both their ceremony and reception in this divine location, Taneille and Nick took full advantage of forest like surroundings and opted to camp on site for a weekend of prewedding vibes in true festival style; and just like most, it ended as the sun rose for the following day with a million memories in hand and hearts – and (of course) a few extra layers to battle the winter midnight dew!

But it wasn’t just these details that will forever be remembered, it was the energy these two lovers radiated; two souls that just down right loved each other, like, whole hearted, fully deep in love, love – and you could totally feel it!

“Our first dance song was iFly – Ball Park Music. Because the lyrics are true ‘I fucking love you’.”

The whole weekend was made up of everything that represented them. It was calm when it needed to be and a storm where due (the partying bit), but when we set off into the forest to capture some special moments together, their gentle nature and passion for each other opened up as they enjoyed a few moments alone before quickly joining their 180 guests to celebrate well and truly into the wee hours of night.

“ With the help of Pitch Luxury,We camped on grounds, keeping the atmosphere going throughout the weekend. We partied hard. Was not an early night.” And why would you when you have your best friends by your side and the whole place to yourself!?

Relaxed yet organised, simple but stylish; it was a glamping done in true wedding style with a (big) splash of party vibes. It was open arms and huge hearts from all those who were there to witness this special love and I am so grateful to have been there to capture it all unfold.
