Gold Coast Beach Wedding

These two lovers have taken on the elements of relaxed to romantic, and everything in between. Meeting over a casual gathering with a hint of love at first sight, Ben took things to the most incredible lengths to ensure that his heart was forever bound to Nikki’s during a trip to the romance capital of the world as he asked her to be his beautiful bride. It was a Gold Coast Beach Wedding that was the cherry on top.

The proposal:

“Benny proposed to me when we were sailing down the Seine River in Paris. I was busy trying to take a selfie with the Eiffel Tower in the background and I turned around to see that was down on one knee. It was definitely the most amazing night of our lives!”

See! And his attention to detail didn’t stop there; as dapper as this fine groom may be, he has a little soft spot for the quirks. Ben handmade gift boxes for his groomsmen that included a little survival pack for the wedding day with personalized socks, a belt and (of course) a little bottle of whisky – cause every groomsmen needs a little whisky to ease those pre-ceremony nerves.
But all in all, there were no nerves to be had. After years of shared adventures and countless memories alike, everyone gathered knew this was a forever kind of love.

North Burleigh Surf club housed the celebration of a lifetime and although a few guests, including the groom, were stuck with a sudden case of illness, there was no denying that there was nothing but love and beauty within the air. From the way the men in her life saw the truth inside her soul, right through to the romantic florals and flow of her Made With Love gown; there was nothing but pure wedded bliss for this incredible couple on their magical wedding day.

As we strolled along the sand capturing moments of a lifetime I got to know these two for what they were all about; sharing love and living in the moment – two key elements to life that we can never have enough of!
