My wife Claire & I heard of Mitch Carlin through friends who had also enlisted him to capture their wedding photos. On meeting Mitch, our minds were put at ease with his chilled vibe, whilst his enthusiastic approach to his art made us both very interested to see how his touch would help eternalise our magical day. Mitch was like a ninja in colour, by which I mean, he was in front of us with his camera capturing moments the whole day but we didn’t notice him, he let the day unfold by itself & didn’t try to force anything. This guy is dedicated & really puts in the effort to give you a polished product, he edits each photo individually with artistic flair that compliments each shot.
Above all Mitch is a genuine, hard-working, professional bloke. He’s got a gift for photography & I can only see his style evolving exponentially with every new piece of work he puts his hands to. I would, without hesitation, recommend him to any other couple looking for unique & treasured wedding photos!-Ryan and Claire Hancock Byron Bay Wedding Photography
Picking a wedding photographer is as hard as picking a dress. Long after the day is done all that you have are the memories and the photos. So you can imagine flying a photographer across the other side of the world to Vegas with a diverse group of people was a tough discussion. After meeting Mitch we both walked away not only knowing we had found the right guy for the job but knew he would capture the moments of our special day. Mitch was always professional and made everyone feel more than comfortable in front of the camera. His creative talent and eye for detail turns a photo into a work of art. He was always good for a laugh and captured those natural shots that everyone wants from their wedding. Looking through our photos it tells a wonderful story of our day from start to finish. Going into this we had a wedding photographer and coming out we not only have absolutely stunning photos but we have made a great friend.Destination Wedding Photographer -Nath & Loz X
Our experience with having Mitch photograph arguably the most important day of our lives to date was amazing. Throughout the entire process - from the very first communication up until the 'unveiling' of our shots, Mitch was the ultimate professional. His communication was always effective and timely, which put us at complete ease in moments where one could be susceptible to stress. We ended up with so many (really, SO MANY) beautiful photos from the day and night which really reflected the fact that Mitch was everywhere, without you even realising. The quality and style of the photos also proved that Mitch listened carefully and took our requests and ideas on board, resulting in end products that we were (and still are) so very happy with. Mitch takes his work so seriously and working with someone who cares about capturing beautiful moments as much as you do is so satisfying. No review can really do Mitch's work justice as his photographs and interactions go beyond what can be conveyed in writing. The best way to fully understand and appreciate what Mitch does is to see his work and experience working with him. Gold Coast Wedding Photographer- Marnie and AJ
